The Afghanistan and India Under-21 sides have withdrawn from the South Asian Games cricket tournament, leaving five teams competing.

The three remaining Test playing sides - Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka - will play a round robin with Nepal and the Maldives, with the top two teams playing off for the gold medal and the third and fourth placed teams playing off for the bronze.

The tournament starts on 31 January, with the medal matches taking place on 7 February.
