Cricket Canada is proud to announce a first in the history of ICC Associate Cricket nations. For the first time in history, fans of associate cricket will be able to watch a tournament live via the web on pay per view. Cricket Canada in conjunction with partners both locally and in Sri Lanka will produce a live webcast of all 3 of Canada’s matches at the 2010 Sri Lanka Cricket Four Nations series in Colombo.

Cricket fans in Canada and around the world can watch 3 matches live from Colombo via webcast. The matches will be produced by a local crew in Sri Lanka and will include 2 match commentators and a 6 camera set up to capture all the action from around the ground. All matches will start at 930am local time in Colombo. (1100pm the night before Eastern Time)

  • January 31, 2010 @ 11:00pm EST: Canada vs. Sri Lanka “A” (February 1st at 930am in Colombo)
  • February 2, 2010 @ 11:00pm EST: Canada vs. Ireland (February 3rd at 930am in Colombo)
  • February 3, 2010 @ 11:00pm EST: Canada vs. Afghanistan (February 4th at 930am in Colombo)

This is a first in the history of cricket around the world and will provide a much needed boost for the visibility of Canadian Cricketers both domestically and abroad.
