BEN SPEAKE has signed for Irish club Terenure for their Leinster Cricket Union campaign in 2015.
Speake (24) is a kiwi batsman playing for Doutta Stars in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association (VTCA), having previous excelled in Hamilton for Star University.
He has also been a stand-out performer during his two previous stints abroad.
In 2013, Speake was one of the leading performers in the Birmingham and District Premier League notching up 924 runs at 57.75 including 4 centures. He was also a handy operator with the ball, taking a best bowling of 5-25 amongst 21 wickets at 25.
He returned to the UK last summer and finished as the Sussex Premier League's fourth leading scorer with 593 runs at 37.06 and also turned out for the Sussex Martlets.
Speake has now set his sights on racking up the runs in Ireland, as his newly adoped club search for promotion back to the LCU top flight in 2015.
