NORTH COUNTY sign belligerent batting all-rounder Dylan Blignaut for their upcoming LCU campaign.

Blignaut (20) is currently enjoying a barnstorming season in Australia, playing for Brighton Districts in the Senior Division of the Victorian Turf Cricket Association in Melbourne.

At the point of writing he tops the division run charts (486 runs at 69.43) alongside 18 wickets at 20.33. He has three centuries (157*, 114*, 103) from only 10 knocks and sits fourth on the VTCA run charts across all grades.

He has also enjoyed two productive English league stints, firstly in 2014 (Vauxhall Mallards in the strong East Anglian Premier League), then last summer for Shobrooke Park (Devon Cricket League).

Blignaut will join Irish club North County who last season finished 2nd in Leinster Cricket Union's top flight.
