Malahide have signed former England international Colin Wells as their Head Coach for the 2016 season.

The 55 year-old enjoyed a successful career in both English and South African cricket, playing for Sussex, Derbyshire, Border and Western Province.

The combative batsman scored 24 hundreds, with a highest score of 203 in first-class cricket.

He moved into coaching at Somerset, Derbyshire and in recent times as coach of the UAE.
