The UAE have confirmed the dates for their forthcoming InterContinental Cup games against both Ireland and the Netherlands.

Emirates Cricket Board Administrator Mazhar Khan said that they will be taking on Ireland from March 6-9 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

UAE have recently lost InterContinental games to both Namibia and Kenya, both of which took place at the Sharjah Stadium.

That will be the venue for their clash with the Netherlands, which takes place from April 3-6.

Ireland currently have 29 points from their two games in the competition, while the Netherlands have 34 from their 3 matches. The UAE have so far gained just 23 points from their 5 games in the competition.

Ireland are staying on in Dubai after their game to prepare for their short tour of Bangladesh. They are hoping to arrange a few one day games against County opposition, one of which is expected to be Essex.

The team depart for Bangladesh on March 15th, playing the hosts in 3 ODI's on March 18th, 20th and 22nd.

The Belfast Telegraph reports that they will be without the services of Jeremy Bray, who has a shoulder injury, and Andrew White who is getting married on March 20th.

They are boosted by the availabilty of their four county based players, Boyd Rankin, Eoin Morgan, Niall O' Brien and William Porterfield. They will need to be at their best as Bangladesh look to gain revenge for their World Cup Super 8 loss to Ireland in Barbados.

The paper also reports that an announcement on the composition of the squad is imminent.
