There are two changes to the Leinster squad for their three day clash against the Northern Knights at Trinity next week.
Kevin O'Brien and Bill Coghlan are missing from the side that beat NW Warriors by six wickets at Bready last month.
Cormac McLoughlin has earned his first Lightning call-up after an excellent start to the season for his club the Hills.
The 20-year-old has scored 418 runs to date at an impressive average of 69.67, the highlight being a match-winning 128 against Leinster in the first round of the Leinster Senior Cup.
“I’ve been delighted with Cormac’s form – his selection is a just reward for his hard work over the past few seasons,” Lightning coach coach Trent Johnston told the official Leinster Lightning site www.leinsterlightning.ie .
There's also a return for retired Irish international Albert van der Merwe, who has again impressed this season for YMCA.
Northern Knights also named their squad earlier today, with both sides unbeaten in the competition thus far.
Imad Wasim, the Instonians professional replaces the unavailable Craig Ervine, while Allen Coulter's shin injury means a call-up for Mark Adair.
Action at College Park starts each day at 11am with free entry.
As usual CricketEurope will be providing their ever popular ball-by-ball commentary with Ian Callender.
